We all have friends who, despite their busy schedules, never miss a day in the gym, cannot stop talking about the next 10 K, or cannot help but smile when they talk about their yoga classes. And although it may seem a bit obsessive, deep envy you! The good news is that we all have the potential to love exercise if you follow these simple steps.
Get up Early
Stop reading this and go immediately to set the alarm and have everything you need to exercise first thing in the morning. Because exercise at the same time every day can help you fix the habit. It is also proven that people who exercise in the morning are more likely to stick with their training than those who do later in the day.
Commit to it for Six Weeks
There is an urban legend that takes us 21 days to something becomes a habit, but there is little evidence to support this claim. So commit to it for six weeks, which is when you start seeing changes in your body cosmetic exercise. And once you see the changes, you will not want to quit!
Find Something you Like
Perhaps you went to a Pilates class and you got bored, or you hurt yourself on your first day of Cross Fit. But that does not mean that all forms of exercise are not for you, so come back to the gym and try different things until you find something you like.
Join a Club
Exercise is more fun with friends, and is much harder to skip classes when you have other people depending on you. Your club exercise could be quite a crowded gym, a regular exercise class where everyone knows your name, or just an exercise buddy that you know will be waiting for morning walk.
You Pay for It
If you invest money to exercise you are more likely that you’ll try harder to get a result in return for your money. If you can afford it, join a gym or splurge on fitness classes with a personal trainer. Or bribe you with an expensive pair of running shoes, for example.
